The Ayurvedic Yoga Massage Institute UK diploma is a dynamic fully practical bodywork qualification that teaches you all you need to know to confidently deliver an amazing full body floor based massage using both your hands and feet in just 3 weekends.

ON COMPLETION OF THE COURSE YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE & CAN START TO WORK PROFESSIONALLY OFFERING AYURVEDIC YOGA MASSAGE.

This course will teach students how to :

  • Confidently set up a treatment space to receive clients

  • Confidently access clients needs before the session with an intake form

  • Confidently give a full body holistic Ayurvedic Yoga Massage

  • Confidently understand massage indication and contraindication

  • Qualify for public liability insurance to be able to offer Ayurvedic Yoga Massage professionally

Our Courses are specially designed to make learning easy, with lots of repetition of the material, divided into 3 easy to digest sections. The schedule is 9am - 6pm daily with a 1 hour lunch break  During the training we will be systematically exploring and learning how to work with the body in 3 sections, see below.

LEVEL 1 The Back Body / Prone

  • Deep tissue massage using your hands and feet to loosen the muscles and fascia for each major muscle group in the back , shoulders, neck , legs and fee. Assisted yoga stretches for the spine, shoulders, hips, legs, ankles and feet.

LEVEL 2 The Seated Body

  • Deep tissue massage and assisted yoga stretches and use for props, for the back, shoulders and neck in the seated position + a review of level 1. 

LEVEL 3 The Front Body / Supine

  • Deep tissue massage for each major muscle group on the front of the body, legs, hips, stomach, arms, hands , shoulders, neck, head and face, Assisted yoga stretches and mobilisations for the hips, spine, shoulders, arms, wrists and fingers and neck + review of level 2

RESULTS:

After completing the training you will be able to confidently give a full body massage on a mat on the floor ( no need for a massage table ) comprising deep tissue massage with both your hands and feet and assisted yoga stretching .

The diploma also qualifies you for public liability insurance to begin offering AYM professionally.
