Ayurvedic Yoga Massage Diploma Training in Goa, India

INDIA FEB 15 -22 2027

The pool at Beach Street

Beach Street, Mandrem beach, Goa.

Goa lies on the west coast of India and its main attraction is postcard perfect white sandy beaches, lined with coconut trees.

Add in a mix of Portuguese colonial architecture, bustling markets, spice plantations, Goan hospitality and cuisine, and you have a recipe for paradise.

This is an intensive 8 day Ayurvedic Yoga Massage training on Mandrem beach that has been programmed to include some time for self, to enjoy as much of the above as you wish.

The training is 99% practical, essentially you will be receiving and giving massage for 7 days with a day off placed in the middle of the week.

The Goa AYM Therapist diploma, is located on the beach in Mandrem, North Goa.

Mandrem is a traditional area surrounded by lots of beautiful jungle and hosts a very long & peaceful stretch of beach.

Spaces for this training are limited.

On completion of the course you are eligible for public liability insurance & can start to give AYM professionally.

What the 8 days look like

Every day I demonstrate each sequence, then work my way round the room helping each pair. Over the week you learn the full AYM treatment in three levels: Level 1, the prone (face-down) sequence; Level 2, the seated sequence; and Level 3, the supine (face-up) sequence. Along the way we cover how to use breath, body weight and feet so the work is deep for the client and easy on you, plus anatomy, contraindications and adapting the treatment to different bodies. On the last day you give a full 90-minute AYM treatment as your assessment.

Who it’s for

You don’t need any massage or yoga experience. Each group usually mixes yoga teachers, massage therapists and people who simply want to learn something real with their hands. All you need is an open mind and genuine interest.

Accreditation

The diploma is accredited by the IICT and the CThA UK, so you can get public liability insurance and practise professionally afterwards.
