Ayurvedic Yoga Massage Training in the UK

The AYM Institute has taught Ayurvedic Yoga Massage in the UK since 2009. Our UK diploma runs over three weekends, and we also run short intro workshops for anyone who would like to try AYM first. Over the years we have taught in London, Bristol, Leeds, Sowerby Bridge and Wimborne in Dorset.

The AYM Diploma: three weekends

The UK diploma covers the same three levels as our Goa and Ibiza trainings, split into three 2-day workshops, usually Saturday and Sunday, 9am to 6pm. Level 1 is the full prone (face-down) sequence, Level 2 is the seated sequence, and Level 3 is the supine (face-up) sequence, finishing with your 90-minute assessment treatment.

Each day mixes demonstration and discussion with plenty of practice in pairs, with anatomy, contraindications and therapist self-care taught along the way. The weekend format suits people who work during the week, and it gives you time to practise between levels.

The full diploma is £1,150, with a £250 deposit to secure your place. New UK dates will be posted here soon.

4-hour intro workshops

Not ready for a full diploma? Our intro workshops are a relaxed half day to learn some basic AYM techniques and see how it feels to give and receive. No experience needed, and they cost £60.

Your teachers

I lead the trainings with Nathan Synge, Steven Taylor and Ellie Foden. You can read more about each of us on our About page.

Accreditation

The diploma is accredited by the IICT and the CThA UK, so you can get public liability insurance and practise professionally afterwards.
