This non-residential course allows you to fully immerse in AYM techniques each day, while giving you the freedom to explore Goa in the evenings or stay in Beach Street’s eco-friendly huts (optional accommodation).

Led by AYM Institute founder James Winstanley, this course combines deep tissue techniques with yoga-based stretches, all taught in a fun, hands-on format. Over 7 days, you’ll gain practical skills by both giving and receiving massages and, on completion, you’ll receive a recognized diploma that qualifies you to practice AYM professionally.

What’s Covered:

LEVEL 1: The Back Body
Learn deep tissue techniques and assisted yoga stretches for the back, shoulders, neck, arms, and back of the legs. You’ll use your hands, feet, and body weight to provide a deeply therapeutic massage experience.

LEVEL 2: The Seated Body
Develop skills for working with clients in a seated position, using props to assist dynamic stretches for the spine, neck, shoulders, and lower back. Includes a review of Level 1 techniques.

LEVEL 3: The Front Body
Focus on deep tissue massage for the front of the legs, abdomen, shoulders, forearms, head, and face. Practice yoga-based stretches for hamstrings, hips, and spine, and complete your skill set with a review of Levels 1 and 2.
